Diaper Services- Could it really be this easy?

My mother first told me about this concept.  She recieved a Diaper Service as a baby shower gift over 30 years ago.  Yes, that would be pre-disposable diaper era.  Once a week the diaper service would drop off a weeks worth of clean and sanitized cloth diapers and accesssories on the door step while also picking up her weeks worth of dirty diapers.  This concept seems so old fashioned but with the green movement taking hold, more mothers are passing up the Huggies and going for the greener option of cloth.
Diaper services are coming back into action, but with a twist.  Diaper services are now taking green action and using organic soaps and methods.  Delivery and pick ups are once a week and the soiled diapers are taken to a location and professionally laundered with commercial machines.  You recieve a bundle of fresh ones that are free of dyes and harsh detergents.
Most services charge around  $20 a week and you specify what size.  The amount of diapers you recieve depends on the age of your baby and his/her needs.  Some also offer hemp overnight liners and give instructions on how to wrap your baby up.  No mess, no fuss!

Cloth Diapers making a comeback

Disposable diapers may be going out of style.  More and more mothers are turning back time to cloth diapers in the hopes of shrinking their carbon footprint and providing a more natural alternative to their babies.
The benefits of cloth diapers range anywhere from minimal ongoing cost if you launder them yourself or minimal effort if you hire a service.  It is also common for children wearing cloth diapers to be potty trained sooner.
These aren't your grandmother's cloth diapers with the giant pins eighter.  Newer cloth diaper come with decorative covers, safe velcro closures, and naturally absorbant hemp liners.
Just another step you can take to do your part.
