My mother first told me about this concept. She recieved a Diaper Service as a baby shower gift over 30 years ago. Yes, that would be pre-disposable diaper era. Once a week the diaper service would drop off a weeks worth of clean and sanitized cloth diapers and accesssories on the door step while also picking up her weeks worth of dirty diapers. This concept seems so old fashioned but with the green movement taking hold, more mothers are passing up the Huggies and going for the greener option of cloth.
Diaper services are coming back into action, but with a twist. Diaper services are now taking green action and using organic soaps and methods. Delivery and pick ups are once a week and the soiled diapers are taken to a location and professionally laundered with commercial machines.
